Hey friends, I’m Calee! I am a twenty-something year old wellness blogger, holistic health coach, yoga teacher, podcaster, hobby farmer, and so much more.
And now for the longer, less professional version: I’m a dog mom, a cat mom to two terrible (yet adorable) Bengals, and a girlfriend to the funniest man I’ve ever met. I am a lover of dessert and soup (eaten separately), gut health obsessed, and have been told on several occasions that I have a sailor’s mouth. I value authenticity over everything. My boyfriend says the best thing about me is that I tell it like it is, which coincidentally he also says is the worst thing about me. I’ll take it. I love to cook (obviously) but I will also always choose takeout pho over any other meal. I care a whole damn lot about the planet and reducing my waste – I am doing my best every day to make my footprint smaller. I am a yogi, spin obsessed, total gym rat, and a soon-to-be spartan racer. I am a reader (well, I’m trying to be), a crystal collector, and quite the latte connoisseur. I am new to the hobby farming world and I’m making great use of the space by bringing home as many animals that can fit in my car.
And I’m sure you’re wondering how all of that fits into this wellness-based site.
First and foremost, I love food and I love what it can do. With the overwhelming amount of information on how to eat, how to live, and how to move your body, I simply believe in doing what feels good, authentic, and trusting your own body’s intuition.
But, my philosophy is that wellness isn’t just food and exercise, it is also about how and with whom you are living your life. It is about experiencing joy and the hugs you are getting along the way. It is about your passions, hobbies, failures, goals, and opportunities for growth.
So yes, my site is about wellness, food, and movement, but it is also about life, and through sharing my experiences, journey, and life, I hope that I can inspire you to continuing to live yours as authentically and holistically as possible.
