Gluten Free Vanilla Granola

Goat milk kefir has been my all-time favorite snack lately! The probiotics have my skin GLOWING. My body has never liked cow’s milk, but i’ve been dabbling with goat’s milk and so far things are going smoothly! it’s important to remember that every body is different, and even your own body changes what it needs, so stay in tune with what works for you.

I’ve been topping my kefir with raisins, goji berries, cacao nibs, chia seeds, and banana – but recently I whipped up some homemade granola (after 4 failed attempts) and it turned out freaking delicious. I learned every way to NOT make granola, so here is the perfect way to do it:

Gluten Free Granola

  • 1 cup gluten free rolled oats (Bob’s Red Mill)
  • 1/3 cup melted ghee*
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons honey*
  • pinch himalayan sea sa
  • dash cinnamon
  1. Spread the oats out on parchment paper on a cookie sheet
  2. Bake at 300 for 30 minutes, taking the oats out every 10 minutes to stir them around
  3. Let cool, and sprinkle on top of kefir or eat it out of a reusable plastic bag

To make these vegan:

*Use coconut oil instead of ghee

*Use maple syrup instead of honey
